Thank you so much to all of the families who attended our “Back 2 School Party” event earlier this week at Whole Foods of Altamonte! We hope you had a STELLAR time exploring the different activities throughout the front patio and within the store, sponsored by Orlando Moms Blog and some of our favorite places!
Upon arriving, our attendees all lined up out in front of the store while waiting to see if they were one of our FIRST 50 to receive a cool school swag bag! The swag bags were full of goodies from Whole Foods of Altamonte, Nemours, Just Between Friends Orlando, Mad Science, Cookie Cousins, Esquire Title Services, Inc. & Orlando Moms Blog! We also gave each family tickets for some of our giveaways, a scavenger hunt, and a “Healthy Lunch Packing” list for the upcoming school year!

After they checked in with Orlando Moms Blog, Sara Kearney Photography snapped an awesome pic of them with a fabulous old school desk and a back to school themed photo backdrop with photo props from Hullabaloo Creations, before sending them off to Little Boy Blue Bakery for a free apple cake pop!
Next, our guests had the options of partaking in an indoor scavenger hunt, coloring in the cafe’ with Just Between Friends Orlando, and trying out some wicked cool science experiments with Mad Science!
Once they cooled off from the Florida heat, everyone participated in outside activities as they excitedly waited for our giveaway announcments! Orlando Moms Blog partnered with a handful of magnificent sponsors to giveaway some AWESOME prizes to a few of our friends!
We gave away backpacks from Driftwood Market stuffed to the top by Esquire Title Services, Inc. & Lil’ Sidekick. Two lucky winners also went home with a Bixbee lunch box filled with cool lunch packing tools from Constructive Eating and FunBites! Another guest was chosen to receive a College Student First Aid Kit full of must haves for any home with school aged children but, especially PERFECT for those sending their teen off to college for the first time!
After a big thank you announcement from Orlando Moms Blog to our sponsors and guests, we gave away our last prize! A bucket full of school supplies went home with one of our adventurous scavenger hunters who was randomly chosen from a list of posted photos on Instagram with #ombback2school!
