I’m always looking for quick, easy recipes especially during the holidays. I started making this Christmas Chex Mix years ago and it is always highly requested each holiday season. It honestly takes no time and is super simple. But be warned…it is highly addictive! I make at least 4 batches of this between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The best thing about this recipe is you can add different ingredients and it will always come out delicious. I’ve taken this to parties and have packed this in mason jars as a gift to teachers and neighbors.
Here is what you’ll need
4 cups Rice Chex
4 cups Corn Chex
4 cups pretzels, I use the pretzel sticks
1/2 bag M & M’s
1 package almond bark
Optional Mix-ins:
Holiday sprinkles
2 cups Cheerios
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup pecans or walnuts
Mix rice, corn Chex and pretzels in a large mixing bowl.
Melt almond bark over low/medium heat stirring constantly.
Once almond bark is completely melted pour over mix and coat thoroughly (I usually use 2 bowls because it does get a little messy).
Add M&M’s and mix well.
Lay parchment paper over a counter top or table and pour mix.
Spread evenly and let cool – about 15 minutes.
Break apart and place in a bowl or in mason jars for gifts.

You can’t go wrong with any of these recipes. Making these mixes is the easy part…..not eating the entire bowl is the hard part!
