Calling all moms, kids, husbands, best friends, walkers, runners and those who are ready to have a fun day with the family, filled with color and memories! Color Me Rad is coming to Orlando on Sunday, March 30 to the Central Florida Fairgrounds!

Color Me Rad is a 5K (3.1 miles) that fires off in a blaze of color bombs, color cannons, color mortars and multi-toned courses that guarantee your outlook will be brighter!

This is perfect for a fun family activity!! Kids under 7 run for free! Plus,ย we thinkย your husband would enjoy it, too! Or maybe just you and your girlfriends and the kids!

Registration is currently $45.00, but Orlando Moms Blog readers receive a special 20% off ($36.00 registration) through March 14, before the next price increase of $50.

The code for 20% off is OMBCMR14 โ€“ click here for the Orlando event!

Soโ€ฆhow does it work?

You’ll start off with a WHITE shirt and throughout the run, Color Bombs of blue, green, pink, purple, and yellow until you come out like a โ€œtie-dyed hippyโ€ on the other side.

Each section of the run adds a new explosion of color to your clean, painter’s palate until you cross the finish line into a final blast of color.

ย

What exactly is the โ€œcolorโ€?

The color is a non-toxic, non-rash-inducing, Kroger branded, colored cornstarch. Using corn that’s “Made in the USA,” these blasts of starch will change your color and your demeanor but never your safety or health.

Ingredients: Corn starch and FD&C and/or D&C colors. Color safety information: Approved for use in foods, cosmetics and/or pharmaceutical drugs. These products are not considered hazardous, 29 CFR 1910-1200.

What does my registration include?

  1. I’ve only done two 5k’s as well but MRTT Start your engines was my first medal and so will always hold a special place in my heart.

  2. I would have to say that my most memorable race was the Halloween Hustle that I did with my friend Patricia. She dressed up as Batman and I was Wonder Woman. We had a great time and even won for the best costumes.
