Mission: Raising funds for research to develop new, improved and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer- the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S.
Vision: No family is ever told “we have run out of options”.
Co-founded by Gretchen Witt, a mom who had the help of 250 volunteers to bake 96,000 cookies to fund a treatment that was hopeful but sitting in a lab. That bake sale raised $420,000. to start the funding of that treatment. Her sweet son Liam passed 7 months before that treatment became available. Other children treated at the same time as Liam received that treatment and it gave hope to many families. The hope continued with others choosing to continue being involved in so many creative ways. For the last 15 years CFKC has funded close to 21 million dollars of life changing research for kids and families fighting cancer.
National 501(c)3 that uses cookies for gifting, 3rd party events, bake sales and so much more to raise awareness and funds to give families hope that are fighting childhood cancer. Contact me if you need help, have questions, or have a child that needs service hours. We can help. Together is the only way we can continue to do this.
