Our respondents will always be paid for sharing their time and opinions when they qualify for and take part in one of our studies.

When you sign up to be a part of Product Insights’ database, you become eligible to participate in any one of the studies that come through our door. 

How do we recruit?

When a client contacts us to conduct research, they give us information on the type of person they are looking for as a participant. We then search our database for the men and women who might meet the initial criteria (i.e. age, household size, gender, etc.). 

The next step might be to email out a “screener”, which is basically a series of questions that helps us determine things like brands you use most often, items that you currently have in your home, purchasing habits, etc. These screeners help us further identify those who might be a great fit for our upcoming research project.

The final stage of recruiting typically occurs when we call you to ask some additional questions and then invite you to participate. You will always be told what the study will entail (i.e. a one-hour focus group) and what the payment will be. And no worries! You can always tell us if it’s not a good fit for you, or if you can’t make the times that are available. There is no obligation to participate! We’ll do our best to get you in for the next study that you may qualify for.
