Summer is the perfect time to get lost in the pages of a good book and National Geographic Kids’ signature style of bright formats, high-interest topics and fun content make their books ideal additions to every summer reading list. This summer we are doing “mom school”, where I make the kids do their BrainQuest workbooks daily and read at least 30 minutes so that we don’t have the dreaded “summer slide”. Don’t get me wrong, they are annoyed with it, but they are also learning and having fun while doing it.ย
So far, we have enjoyed these books in the car, at the pool, while getting ready for bed and inside on a rainy day — these brain-boosting titles from National Geographic Kids Books are perfect for reluctant readers (my 10 year old) and book lovers alike (my 6 year old)! Our kids have had the best time with these books! And to boot-ย I have LOVED learning some new facts!!
