The Color Run (the original paint race!) is returning to Orlando Saturday, Jan. 11! Less about running a 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life, The Color Run is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which thousands of participants, or “Color Runners”, are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer. With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:
- Wear white at the starting line
- Finish plastered in color!
Founded in January of 2012, The Color Run aims to promote healthiness and happiness by bringing the community together to participate in the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”. The Orlando Moms Blog editorial team will be running and we’d love to see our readers there! Registration is now open for the January 11 race.
