What?! We’re hosting the 4th of July BBQ at our house? But it’s TOMORROW… and I already spent my budget on food!
This year I put my love for decorating for the holidays on a budget. Can I spend less than twenty dollars on decorations, but make it look like I splurged? I visited the local dollar store, and bingo! Check out my transformation… for only $16!

I will definitely be making some of contributor Kendra’s yummy Star Fruit Salad and 4th of July Fruit Pizza treats and place on these darling star-shaped platters!
So my purchases were:
4 American flags
3 paper lanterns
6 blue place mats
2 star platters
1 2-pack taper candles
total:$16 … woo-hoo!
