June’s Book of the Month is Final Girls by Riley Sager!

I love Riley Sager’s style of thriller writing. His book The Last Time I Lied made it into my top 10 books of 2022. If you haven’t read one of his books, I hope Final Girls starts you down a path to reading his back list.

Book Summary:

Quincy survived a brutal attack on a vacation with her friends ten years ago. Quincy was the only one to leave Pine Cottage alive. Quincy leans on her boyfriend and her Xanax prescription to get through the days of not remembering that night. She is part of a “club” of women who have also survived horrific situations. While the women have not all meet, they feel connected to each other. So when Lisa, the first Final Girl, is found dead and Sam, the second Final Girl, appears on Quincy’s doorstep, Quincy is forced to relive the events of the horrific night that made her into a Final Girl herself. As the flashbacks of that vacation to Pine Cottage begin to come back to Quincy, she realizes that maybe she got everything about that fateful night horrifically wrong.

Be ready to question every character and their motives.

Be ready to question everything you think you have figured out.

Be ready for one thrilling ride.
