On January 14th, we had the amazing opportunity to host a FABULOUS dinner for our incredible OMB contributors! We were able to enjoy time with each other, laugh, and highlight some of our favorite things!
The event was held at the gorgeous Bridle Oaks Barn in Deland, FL. A rustic venue with a unique flair making this a truly enchanting place to host a special event. Every detail was beautifully thought out by a father-daughter team who now run and maintain the Barn. From an exquisite ceremony space to the grand barn, mixed with unique touches, such as the built in photo booth area and fire pit, your event will be one to remember.
InBloom Florist is a local, family owned business, with a heart for our city, provided breath-taking centerpieces bringing life to our tables, and we are grateful for their hand in making this night feel spectacular.
Now, we all know that those special little details are what make an event all the more fun, fancy and unique. We were treated to a delectable dinner created by the amazing Chef Maria Cruz! She was such a joy to work with and her vibrant personality truly shines through in her cooking. From the scrumptious dates with goat cheese and bacon appetizer, to a the Cuban fricassee chicken, to the contributor favorite – pasta with pumpkin sauce, greens, goat cheese sprinkled with toasted pumpkin seeds, our meal was the perfect display of local ingredients made to please!
Our gorgeous sweet treats were made by Sugar Loft Bake Shop! It took us awhile to stop ogling their beauty, but once we did, we were sorry we waited! A truly excellent, mama – run company, who does her job exceptionally well!
Our beautiful invite displayed in our announcement post, sponsor cards, and signature balloon with tassels were created by the amazing ladies at Paper Goat Post! If you haven’t stopped by their awesome shop yet, do so!
Each of our contributors was treated to products from some of our favorite local (and one that’s not so local, but loves our city and team), shops! With most of these shops being women/mama owned, we are even more excited to share them with you!

We got to sample their Deluxe Artisan Soap and, wow, the word deluxe describes it so well!
