My girls had one wish over spring break. They wanted to go shopping! They both had received money from earning A’s on their report card, and it was burning a hole in their pocket!
They had a list of items. A LOOOOONG list. They both knew that it wasn’t likely that they would get everything on their list during their spring break shopping spree, but they hoped to make a dent!
I was recently asked to write a review about the opening of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Kissimmee. I had never been to one of their stores, so I looked at their website, and thought, “Hmmm, it reminds me of a nice dollar type of store, but with a lot more items!” When I asked my daughters if they might want to do a shopping spree at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, they both said YES! The thought of getting plenty of items on their shopping list made them happy as can be!
We decided to make the trip a family affair. Me, my husband and three kids hopped on the 417 for a spring break shopping spree!
When we arrived, it was better than I imagined. It was a BIG store! My oldest daughter immediately went to the book section. My youngest grabbed a cart and immediately went to the art section. My son wanted to scope out everything! So it was just my husband and me, on a little shopping date! I immediately noticed the “our price” vs. “their price” savings. We soon started filling our basket with things we needed and things we wanted.

In the end, we had a GREAT shopping spree! It was a HUGE success! Everyone found something they loved! And on the way out we spotted a really nice TV that we will be getting on our next trip! We are definitely Ollie’s Bargain Outlet fans!
