Living in the theme park capital of the world is awesome. But sometimes I get tired of $18 parking and $14 chicken nuggets and hours of waiting in line. When we want a family day out thatβs a whole lot simpler, we love to visit Stanley Pond Adventure Farm. Itβs a little oasis for us. Calm, relaxed, comfortable, and easy. The kids leave tired but happy, and we leave feeling sun-kissed and recharged for a new week ahead. This is a great day out at just the right pace.
For us Lake County folk, Stanley Pond Adventure Farm is right in our backyard. For everyone else, itβs worth the beautiful country drive to Astatula (which is closer than it sounds)! We started visiting the farm when now three-year-old Zadie was just crawling. This yearβs visit came with a few surprises. Zadie was ready to ride the βbullicornsβ (bulls with horns like unicorns = bullicorns?) alone. She hopped aboard Skippy the Airboat without me. She rode Tacoma all by herself. I didnβt even get on the giant jumping pillow and if I hadnβt been busy holding her brother, I wouldβve gone in anyway. That thing is awesome! If you visited the farm in years past, you need to come back. The place has grown!
We have a long-standing fall tradition to do Stanley Pond Adventure Farmβs pumpkin patch and then come back to see Santa. Just as the heat slacks off a bit, theyβre ready for their busiest season. Spookley the Square Pumpkin currently rules the farm with photo ops for the kids. Admission includes wagon rides, the giant jumping pillow, cow train rides, airboat and horse rides, fishing at Catfish Junction, Sparky the fire truck, rubber duck races, a small pumpkin to take home, and more. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness that went into making sure kids of all ages would be equally entertained. Itβs safe, itβs clean, and everybody at Stanley Pond Adventure Farm wants to make sure the kids have FUN!
Weekends between now and Christmas (check their website for dates and times!) are a great time to check out the farm with the kids. But donβt think the fun stops there — you can book school groups or use the farm to host moms group days. Itβs a great place to schedule play dates. Moms can enjoy the lake breeze while the kids hop aboard rides and wear themselves out! The farm is also available for birthday parties and summer camps. This is a great little treasure Orlando moms should know about!
So check out Stanley Pond Adventure Farm this fall, and then we’ll see you there at Christmas time. Be sure to stop me and say hi!

My son loves water, so our non favorite theme park activity is going to a splash pad!
Sounds fun!!!I would love to go with my kids π
Our favorite “non” theme park is actually Lake Eola. We love walking around the lake, seeing the swans, playing on the playground, and taking in the fresh air.
We moved to the area a year ago and haven’t really discovered too many non theme park places to go. We have been to Lake Eola and Cranes Roost a few times, my daughter loves the turtles and ducks. I would love to really start checking out some of the other things to do, so winning these would be perfect!
New to the area and would love to check this out.
The zoo or splash pad!
I like Blue Jacket Park. My husband proposed there, so it will always be special to us. π
Thats so sweet!!! my girls call that waterfall ( fountain) wedding day park!! too funny π
My kids love the Orlando Science Center.
Look like a fun place take the kids. We are newbies in FL thanks for sharing ! Allows me to get to know more places here
We love the Orlando Science Museum and Orlando Arts Museum!
