Hotel Kid Care: Mobile Childcare with Heart

Meet Mom Boss:: Kerri Ann

Reproductive and Maternal Mental Health
Healing With Wisdom: Compassionate Support Through Life’s Transitions
Founded in October 2012, Healing With Wisdom was created to fill a crucial gap in mental health care — representation and support for those navigating pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and loss. After experiencing a stillbirth and struggling to find a therapist who reflected her own identity, the founder committed to ensuring others wouldn’t face the same isolation.
Balancing motherhood and business ownership has been a challenge, but daily intentional practices allow her to show up fully for both. Above all, she wants people to know that therapy isn’t just for those with mental illness — it’s for everyone.
No one is defined by their reproductive experiences, and Healing With Wisdom is here to provide compassionate, judgment-free support.
Birchwood Coffee Co: Southern Charm on Wheels

From locally roasted coffee to homemade southern desserts, every item is crafted with love. Opening during Covid was no easy feat, but Birchwood persevered. Now, the business has evolved into a traveling coffee truck, bringing its signature warmth and charm to Apopka and beyond.

Dr. Jamelah Tucker and Dr. Dorielle Price are the founders and owners of EasyPeasie Veggie Blends
EasyPeasie Veggie Blends: A Simple Solution for Picky Eaters
Founded in 2013, EasyPeasie Veggie Blends began as a family experiment — drying and grinding vegetables to introduce kids to veggie flavors early in life. What started as a kitchen hack quickly grew into a mission to make healthy eating easier for families.
The biggest challenge? Educating parents on how to seamlessly incorporate EasyPeasie into meals. From their first farmer’s market in 2016 to today, they continue to help families make veggies an everyday habit.
Created by a pediatrician and a mom of two, EasyPeasie isn’t just another seasoning — it’s a game-changer for parents navigating the veggie struggle. They know because they’ve been there too!
Meet Mom Bosses:: Natasha and Jennifer

Natasha Byrd-Gaylon and Jennifer Peets are the founders and owners of Naked Bar Soap Co
Naked Bar Soap Co: Natural Beauty with Personality
Founded in 2013, Naked Bar Soap Co was born from a desire to create skin-loving, natural products after founder Natasha’s family struggled with skin conditions. What started as a small farmers market venture quickly evolved when her best friend Jennifer encouraged her to take it to the next level.
Rooted in their Afro-Latina heritage, the duo infused the brand with both sensual elegance and bold personality — a balance of yin and yang that defines their friendship. Every soap is crafted in small batches using quality ingredients like shea butter and coconut oil, with fragrances that are both subtle and sexy.
Each bar is a vibrant work of art, made with love, intention, and a commitment to natural beauty.
Meet Mom Boss:: Vanetta

Vanetta Anderson is the founder and owner of Hydrolux Wellness Lounge
Hydrolux Wellness Lounge: Elevating Health Through Preventative Care
Founded in March 2020, Hydrolux Wellness Lounge was created to shift the focus from treating illness to preventing it. After years in healthcare, the founder grew frustrated seeing preventable diseases in patients — especially young children.
Determined to make a difference, she took a leap of faith and opened Hydrolux in Maitland, FL, offering IV vitamin therapy, weight loss services, facials, and massage therapy. The entrepreneurial journey hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has been a lesson in resilience.
Many people still don’t realize the powerful benefits of IV therapy, including 100% absorption of essential vitamins and nutrients.
As Hydrolux continues to grow, the mission remains the same: helping Orlando live healthier, one treatment at a time.
Meet Mom Boss:: Sharday

Sharday A. Joseph BS, RDMS, RDCS is the founder of Advanced Ultrasound
Advanced Ultrasound FL: Same-Day Imaging, Community-Focused Care
Founded on March 2, 2020, Advanced Ultrasound FL was created to increase diversity and equality in the sonography field. Recognizing the lack of Black ultrasound techs in Central Florida, the founders — husband and wife — set out to make a change.
The road to becoming an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) came with challenges, including the lack of mentors or consultants to guide them. But through determination, they learned and grew. Today, Advanced Ultrasound offers comprehensive imaging services — from adult and pediatric ultrasounds to maternal-fetal medicine — with same-day appointments and reports.
Serving Kissimmee, Davenport, Poinciana, St. Cloud, and Orlando, they provide fast, high-quality care with a commitment to accessibility and excellence.
Meet Mom Boss:: Tamiqua

Tamiqua Torres, IBCLC is the founder and owner of Latching in Love Lactation Services
Latching in Love: Compassionate Lactation Support for Every Parent
Founded in April 2019, Latching in Love Lactation Services began as a personal journey — one mom’s mission to advocate for breastfeeding rights in the workplace. What started as social media encouragement and peer support grew into a full-time career after founder Tamiqua became a Certified Lactation Counselor.
Overcoming her own health challenges, she turned adversity into purpose, dedicating her work to helping parents navigate breastfeeding with confidence. Now based in Orlando, she provides prenatal education, lactation consultations, and personalized support tailored to each family’s needs.
Tamiqua wants parents to know that early guidance is key — meeting with a lactation consultant before birth and in the first weeks can make all the difference in achieving breastfeeding goals.
