City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry: Redefining Pediatric Dental Care in Orlando

Located in Orlando’s vibrant SoDo medical district, City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry is redefining what a child’s dental visit can feel like: welcoming, personalized, and fun. Owned and operated by Dr. Danielle L. Recine, a board-certified pediatric dentist with over a decade of experience, the practice focuses on compassionate, evidence-based care that helps kids and parents feel at ease from the very first appointment.

A Pediatric Dentist with Heart and Experience

Dr. Danielle earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, where her volunteer activities and patient interactions confirmed what she had always known, that she loves working with children. She went on to complete a two-year combined academic and hospital-based residency in Pediatric Dentistry at NYU and Bellevue Hospital, one of New York City’s top public hospitals.

During her specialty training, she gained extensive experience caring for children from all walks of life. She also participated in multiple outreach programs, both local and international, where she provided pediatric dental treatment, education, and training in underserved communities across Nepal, Guatemala, Maine, and New York.

Her commitment and skill have been recognized nationally. In 2019, she was honored by Incisal Edge Magazine as one of the country’s Top 40 Under 40 Dental Specialists. She has shared her expertise on children’s dental health in The Strategist/New York Magazine, was a contributing author for the pioneering book The Chronicles of Women in White Coats, and contributes as both a blog author and podcast guest for the Central Florida Birth Network. Most recently, she is honored to be featured in Orlando Magazine’s October 2025 “Faces of Orlando” edition as The Face of Pediatric Dentistry.

Over the last decade, Dr. Danielle has worked as an associate in multiple practices across the country, gaining a wide breadth of experience. Her experiences and her passion for making dental care positive, inclusive, and family-centered, ultimately led to the creation of City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry.

“This has been a dream ten years in the making,” Dr. Danielle shares. “And standing here today as a practice owner feels truly surreal.”

Shaped by Family, Rooted in Community

Her approach is shaped not only by clinical expertise but also by her personal experience as a mother. “I want every child to leave our office feeling confident and cared for,” she says. “Many adult dental fears begin in childhood. My mission is to rewrite that story for the next generation.”

This chapter is especially meaningful because of where Dr. Danielle came from. She grew up in New York City in a modest home, with parents who worked tirelessly to provide for her and her sister. Summers were spent in Cocoa Beach, Florida, with her grandparents, where she learned the true value of family and community.

“My ties to Central Florida have been a root throughout my life,” she reflects. “It feels extra special to now call Orlando home for the past five years. In that time, we’ve met such wonderful people, made friends who have become family, and connected with our vibrant and hardworking City Beautiful residents.”

Designed for Comfort, Care, and Community

The name City Beautiful honors Orlando’s history and sense of community—it’s both an homage to the city’s nickname and a guiding philosophy. The office reflects that spirit: bright, welcoming, and designed with both kids and parents in mind.

Families find state-of-the-art technology paired with a playful environment that turns dental visits into positive memories. From interactive toys and activities to a retro Pac-Man arcade game in the waiting area to a colorful social-media wall, children quickly realize this isn’t a typical dental office.

Their advanced technology ensures every visit is safe, precise, and comfortable. From digital X-rays and CO laser treatments to fully paperless charts and patient forms, they use the latest tools to provide gentle, minimally invasive care while also keeping your child’s records secure and easily accessible. To ease nerves and celebrate bravery, they offer a rewards system with exciting prizes that make appointments something to look forward to. And with TVs mounted above every chair, kids can relax and enjoy their favorite shows or movies during treatment.

Inclusive Care for All Children

At City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry, inclusivity isn’t just a promise—it’s the very foundation of their practice. Dr. Danielle and her team are committed to providing compassionate, personalized care for children of all abilities, including those with unique healthcare needs such as medical complexities, sensory sensitivities, and neurodivergence. Their office offers thoughtful accommodations, including sensory kits with weighted stuffed animals, blankets, and vests, as well as sensory-friendly visuals, sunglasses, and noise-reducing headphones, helping every child feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

The practice never uses physical restraint. Instead, the team relies on patience, gentle guidance, and parental involvement to ensure every child feels safe and respected. “We want every child to feel comfortable in our space,” Dr. Danielle explains. “That means meeting them where they are—whether that’s through extra time, special tools, or simply listening to their individual needs.” She adds: “Respect at the dentist isn’t optional—it’s healthcare 101. If a child learns fear instead of safety, we’ve failed them.”

Specialized Services: From Infants to Teens

City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry provides comprehensive care, from preventive checkups and restorative treatments to advanced services such as sedation dentistry, infant oral care, and CO laser frenectomies (lip- and tongue-tie releases).

Dr. Danielle’s passion for helping infants with feeding challenges is both professional and personal. Long before becoming a mother, she trained extensively in diagnosing and treating lip and tongue ties. When her own daughter was later diagnosed with a tongue tie, the experience deepened her empathy for parents facing similar struggles with difficult feedings, conflicting advice, and the stress of finding answers.

Today, she collaborates with lactation consultants, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, craniosacral therapists, chiropractors, and other specialists to provide holistic support for families. “My training prepared me to perform these procedures,” she explains, “but becoming a mom gave me a new perspective. I know how overwhelming it can feel, which is why I’m committed to offering not only treatment but also reassurance and guidance every step of the way.”

Life Outside the Office

When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Danielle enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring new restaurants in Orlando. At home, she loves spending time with her husband, Dr. Thomas Recine (a Florida Tech alum), their two daughters, and their lovable English bulldog, Baci.

A True Dental Home

Dr. Danielle emphasizes that dentistry is a partnership. Parents are partners in care, and kids are celebrated every step of the way. Whether it’s a baby’s first checkup, a chipped tooth on the playground, or a teenager preparing for college, families know they can count on thoughtful, gentle care.

City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry is committed to being more than a dental office—it’s a dental home. A place where children feel safe, respected, and even excited to visit.

Because at City Beautiful, every smile is beautiful.
