FREE Disney Family Fun: The Resort Gingerbread Stroll

We LOVE to find FREE Disney Family Fun and the Resort Gingerbread Stroll and Disney Springs Tree Stroll are by far the best ways to enjoy some Disney Life on a budget!

The Disney Gingerbread Stroll groups resorts by transportation and starts at Disney Springs, making it a full day of festive transport and sights. Our adventure takes about 6-7 hours to complete, and includes a stop for a meal!
The flow we have used over the last few years is simple:
  • Park in the Lime Garage at Disney Springs
  • Go to Bus Stop 10 to Beach Club/Yacht Club/Boardwalk
  • Walk from resort to resort (Beach Club/Yacht Club/Boardwalk)
  • Then jump on the bus to the Magic Kingdom Resorts (a.k.a. the Monorail loop)
  • Start at The Contemporary/Polynesian/Grand Floridian
    • NOTE: this year the Grand Floridian is under construction, so we skipped this one)
  • Hop on the bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • Then get the bus back to Disney Springs

Once we are back at Disney Springs, we grab our Disney Springs Tree Stroll map at the Lego Store and being that adventure!

  • we start with the big tree after the Lego Store then head towards the Coca Cola store
  • we stop for food at Chicken Guy
  • then continue to the West Side trees
  • from there we go over the bridge and hit the spots by Blaze Pizza
  • then we head back towards the Lego Store to hit those trees in front
  • from there we cross the bridge to the Marketplace area
  • we loop back towards the Lego Store and hit the trees behind it on the way towards the Polite Pig
  • then we exit to the Lime Garage!

You can always tweak this order based on time and preference, but we love this loop!!
