At this event, we give away thousands of fully stocked backpacks containing notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, and more. Local barbers and hairstylists generously volunteer their time to provide free haircuts and styling, ensuring kids look and feel their best on the first day of school.
Beyond the giveaways, the day is filled with music, food vendors, games, face painting, balloon animals, a gaming truck, and free resources from other local organizations.
