Book Summary:
Join Trisha and Ethan on their search for their first home as newly weds! The arrive at the home that Ethan hopes is their forever home just as a blizzard hits. Their real estate agent is unable to join them because of the snow, but they gain entrance to the home thanks to a spare key they find on the porch. Trisha and Ethan soon realize that the home they are now stuck in is the home of the famous psychiatrist Adrienne Hale. Adrienne has been missing and presumed dead for the last four years and her disappearance is still unsolved. Making the best of their situation, Ethan and Trisha tour the home. Surprisingly, the fridge has food in it and this makes Trisha nervous that they are not alone in the psychiatrist’s home. That night, Trisha discovers a secret room in the home that contains recordings of all of Dr. Hale’s patients. Against Ethan’s wishes, Trisha listens to the tapes of the days leading up to the doctor’s disappearance and she begins to piece together what happened in the days prior. When Trisha listens to the last tape, she learns the horrible truth about the good doctor and when an unexpected guest shows up at the house, will Trisha and Ethan survive the night?
