The fall season always stirs up memories of our favorite indulgences! Pumpkin spice latte anyone? YES please! And let’s not forget caramel apples and the warm scent of cinnamon while you’re baking at home. How about starting a new tradition for your family with something that has been around for years? We’re talking about Girl Scouts’ Sweets ‘N’ Treats!
Did you know….
Girl Scouts has more to offer besides excellent leadership programs for girls and delicious cookies in the winter? Girl Scouts also offers an array of wonderful Sweets ‘N’ Treats from sweet and savory Cheddar Caramel Crunch to decadent Dark Chocolate Caramel Caps. You can even find something special for your four-legged companion with a BarkBox filled goodies and treats any dog would love.
If sweets aren’t your thing, there are other items you can check out. There are a variety of tumblers to choose from, some may feature your favorite sports team! You can also pick up a magazine subscription, or two while you’re at it.
The best part about Sweets ‘N’ Treats is that all the proceeds stay LOCAL to benefit Girl Scouts of Citrus Council! You can continue to support the wonderful programs this organization provides for our girls while you wait for Cookie Season to begin. So, head out to a booth and interact with the girls so that they can work on their entrepreneurial skills. It will also give our girls the practice they need for when Cookie Season begins in January 2024. You can also make a purchase on their website and have your order delivered right to your door.
You have until November 28th to get your orders in.
It’s because of your generosity that Girl Scouts can fund programming that teaches our girls five key skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. About two out of three Girl Scouts have developed all five skills successfully, which will set them apart as they pursue leadership roles in the future!
