I loved writing this most anticipated reads of 2025 list (see what I looked forward to reading in 2023 and 2024) because looking ahead to all of the GREAT books that I am sure to read makes my bookworm heart so happy. I’ve really found my niche of reading in the last couple of years – I am a spicy romance reader through and through (with a side of mystery/thriller books to get me into spooky season). I also have found, and made friends with, authors that I absolutely adore because of my platform here at Orlando Mom. I love uplifting authors and their art. I also love knowing if you read one of these books and what you think about them!

So without any further ado, my most anticipated reads of 2025 list is here:

Passed Ball by Lo Everett – a single dad, baseball romance where the new dad does not fall for his nanny, but instead falls hard for her independent aunt.

Selfie by Kay Cove – a boss/employee romance with a spice list and a curvy FMC.

Bridesmaid by Chance by Meghan Quinn – Meghan’s first marriage of convenience romance between the billionaire boss and his assistant.

Merry Christmas You Filthy Animal by Meghan Quinn – Meghan’s take on Home Alone, yes please.

Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros – The third in the Emperian series and I am looking forward to hanging out with my favorite dragons again.

Alchemized by SenLinYu – The traditionally published take on Manacled.

Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry – Devney’s entry into romantasy that is the first of a trilogy.

Rose and Chains by Julie Soto – Another Dramione fanfic that will be traditionally published this year.

King of Envy by Ana Huang – The secretive and mute billionaire, Vuk, falls for his freind’s fiancée.

My Dark Fairy Tale/My Dark Ever After – a duet from Giana Darling about an American woman on vacation in Italy who falls in love with an Italian mafioso.

I know there will be more as many authors have not announced their entire line up of books for the year, so I cannot wait to see what amazing books I read this year!
