Inspired by one of the best Christmas movies of all time, Home Alone, Max and Betty’s story is sure to put you into the holiday spirit while making you laugh until you cry! I don’t know about you, but without snow falling, I need to read A LOT of Christmas books to help get me into the holiday spirit. Meghan’s writing never fails to makes me laugh, so that’s a huge plus. She has said there are over 100 references in the book to the movie… can you spot some?!

Merry Christmas You Filthy Animal Summary:

Max is desperate to save his family’s tree farm when a rival Christmas-themed farm opens next door — run by Betty and her uncle. To protect his legacy, Max concocts a plan to seduce Betty, ruin her business, and drive her away — only to find himself falling hard for her instead.
