  1. There are two splash pads those of us in South Orlando frequent in the summer.

One is a newer splash pad at the Lakefront Park in Kissimmee (201 Lakeview) that is free of charge. This park includes plenty of shaded seating, sidewalks for walking or riding bikes, piers for fishing, Ruby Street Cafe, and a couple of playgrounds. This area was recently remodeled and is very nice.

A little further south in St. Cloud is another park also called Lakefront (1104 Lakeshore Blvd). It includes a free splash pad, a playground, and a beach where you can swim and play in East Lake Toho. The water is very shallow, almost like a zero entry pool.

  2. There’s a great splash zone in Celebration, right across from the movie theater and the ice cream shop. It’s timed so it always surprises the kids and there’s showers to rinse before and after.

  3. Dr. P. Phillips Community has a splash pad that is great for all ages and free of charge. For specifics you can refer to the Orange County parks & recreation website.
