Are you ready to freak out? Once we identify the creepiest bugs on Earth, and learn their diabolical traits, we will make our own monster bugs to freak out our friends. Registration required.

South Trail Branch – Thursday, October 9, 4:00 p.m.

Enter the world of R.L. Stine and enjoy g a.m.es and crafts inspired by the Goosebumps book series…if you dare! Recommended for families with children ages 6-12. Registration required.

Eatonville Branch – Tuesday, October 14, 3:30 p.m.

Unleash your spooky creativity! Design a haunted house combining STEM and crafting using the DIY materials provided. Recommended for ages 6-12.

Orlando Public Library – Wednesday, October 15, 10:30 a.m.

Get into the spooky spirit with songs, stories, and lots of silly fun! Recommended for ages 3-5. Registration required.

Winter Garden Branch – Thursday, October 16, 10:30 a.m.

South Creek Branch – Friday, October 17, 10:30 a.m.

Bring your baby to this Halloween storytime filled with not-so-spooky activities that introduce pre-literacy concepts. Baby costumes are encouraged. Recommended for ages 0-18 months. Registration required.

 

South Trail Branch – Tuesday, October 21, 10:30 a.m.

Calling all witches, zombies, and monsters. Sing and dance during this spooky storytime. Recommended for ages 3-5. Registration required.

 

Orlando Public Library – Wednesday, October 22 – 10:30 a.m.

Interactive bilingual storytime featuring books and songs in English and Spanish.

Monsters are everywhere in mythology. Celebrate these great Greek beasts with mythical crafts and activities. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.

Hiawassee Branch – Friday, October 24, 4:30 p.m.

Something’s brewing! Join us in conducting a spooky and exciting science project, resulting in your very own bubbling cauldron! Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.

 

Unwrapping the History of Candy

West Oaks Branch – Wednesday, October 29, 4:00 p.m.

Explore the origins of candy from ancient sweets to modern treats through stories, g a.m.es, and tasty activities. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.

 

The BOO! Bash

South Creek Branch – Thursday, October 30, 10:30 a.m.

Wear your favorite Halloween costume and join us for a ghoulish good time with creepy crafts, spooky stories, and more! Recommended for ages 3-5.
