September 19 – November 1 – Haunted Monster Truck Ride at Showcase of Citrus This Halloween, as the sun sets and shadows stretch across the land, Clermont’s beloved Showcase of Citrus transforms into a realm of unrelenting terror. An ancient curse has seeped into the soil, awakening sinister scarecrows, grotesque monsters, and hordes of the undead. The once-familiar orange groves are no longer a safe haven—they’ve become a harrowing landscape of fear. Your only hope for survival: climb aboard our towering 16-feet tall, 40-foot long Monster Trucks, manned by fearless Showcase Rangers, and plunge into a wild escape through the cursed fields. But beware—this is no ordinary Halloween attraction. It’s an immersive, heart-pounding thrill ride into the very heart of a nightmare.

September 27 – October 31 – Happy Frights at Leu Gardens, Happy Frights® at Orlando’s beautiful Leu Gardens, featuring immersive worlds like a mysterious swamp, a Crazy Carnival, and a Hedge Maze with the Mad Hatter. Enjoy Hip-Hop Dancing Aliens, a grand Día de Muertos celebration with live music, 8 trick-or-treat stations, and more. Don’t miss it! October 9 & 16 – 10:30 a.m. Crochet Ghost with Witch Hat (2-Part) Chickasaw Branch, Create a fun crochet project. Learn how to create a cute ghost with a witch hat while stitching in the round, perfect for this spooky season. Registration required.  

October 11 – Spooky Spectacular: Book or Treat, St. Cloud Library, 810 13th St, St Cloud, 6:30 – 8PM, With ghostly stories and haunting activities, this family event will give you the shivers. Come in costume for tricks and treats!

October 12 – 1-3 p.m. Trick or Treat Safe Zone returns to Orlando Public Library and Orange County Regional History Center. Families are invited to wear their costumes, bring their candy bags and play Ghostly Games, hear stories from Cryptid Country, work together to escape Creepy Crawlies and Monster Mayhem and more.

October 14- 11 a.m. Wild Thing Rumpus at West Oaks Library

October 16- 4:30 p.m. Get into the spooky spirit by creating a sparkling diamond art coaster featuring an adorable black cat design—perfect for Halloween! Recommended for families. Registration required. Black Cat Diamond Art Coaster, Hiawassee Branch

October 18 – 31 – Winter Garden Halloween Experience, Historic Downtown Winter Garden, Halloween is celebrated for 14 days – not just one — in Winter Garden! Hosted by the City of Winter Garden, the annual Halloween Experience (October 18 – 31) provides FREE, fun, family-friendly festivities in Downtown Winter Garden, including seven nights of an outdoor animated Halloween Light Show on City Hall; a hay maze; fall- and spooky-themed photo locations, decorations and light displays throughout downtown; a Spooky Caboose at the Winter Garden Heritage Museum; a Halloween Celebration at the fall-themed Farmers Market, and more! All day: Hay Maze at City Hall (10:00 am – 9:00 pm), Halloween- and Fall-Themed Photo Stations, Seasonal Decorations & Light Displays throughout Downtown, Unique Stores & Restaurants to Shop, Dine & Stroll surrounded by historic charm and spooky and fall ambiance, Expanded Outdoor Patios to dine amidst the Halloween Experience while enjoying the crisp autumn weather.

October 18 – Food Truck Thursday and Jeep-O-Ween, Center Lake Park, 299 Center Lake Lane, Oviedo, 5 – 9PM, Join us for a charming evening at Movie Night in The Park, hosted at The Oviedo Amphitheatre in Center Lake Park! The movie kicks off at dusk, approximately 6:45 PM. Be sure to bring along your favorite blanket or comfy lawn chairs for a cozy viewing experience. To snag the best seats on the family lawn, arrive early as spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Make the most of your time at Center Lake Park by exploring its various attractions, including three spacious lawns, a dog park, a moving Veterans Tribute, a splash pad, and playground. There’s something for everyone here! Plus, discover nearby restaurants and bars within walking distance of the park, and rest assured that parking is free.

October 18, 19 & 20 – Halloween Light Show, City Hall, 300 W. Plant Street, 7 – 9PM, A Halloween animated light show synchronized to music projected onto the front façade of City Hall.

October 19 Spooky Market poolside at Melia Hotel Celebration from 3 to 8 pm featuring booths from local merchants selling Halloween treats, gifts, costumes and more. Free event for all. Everyone is welcome to come in costume.

October 19 – Truck or Treat, Reiter Park, 311 Warren Avenue, Longwood, 3 – 6PM, Come out to Reiter Park on Saturday, October 19th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm for truck or treating with a variety of trucks, and other vehicles, free candy for children, bounce houses, food vendors, and much more. Activities include a children’s costume contest, Truck-or Treating, Bounce Houses, Games, Free candy for the children, Vendors, and much more.

October 23 – Halloween Dance Party, Community Building, 200 W Warren Avenue, Longwood, 6:30 – 8:30PM, Join Longwood’s annual Halloween Dance Party for kids and teens ages 4-18. There will be light refreshments and candy, an audience-judged costume contest for ages 4-8, 9-12 & 13-18, dancing, and entertainment by D.J. Dennis.

October 24- Halloween at The View, Carts & Candy: Bring the whole family for Trunk or Treat, live music, games, face painting, balloon animals, and our kid & family costume contest! 5-10p

October 25- Halloween at The View, Costumes & Cocktails: Sip on spooky cocktails and enjoy food specials in The Dobel Lounge, dance to DJ Hallo-Queen, and compete in our killer costume contest. 7-11p

October 25 – Pumpkin Glow Jack-o-lantern Registration, Oakland Nature Preserve Green Trail, 5:30PM, We want to display your talent!   Bring us your Jack-O-Lantern for display.  All Jack-O-Lanterns will be placed along the Preserve’s Green Trail to create a glowing spectacle for all to enjoy. All pumpkins submitted will be available for pick up after the event.Do you have a child 10 and under that would like to participate are not ready to carve a pumpkin? We will have a special Painted Pumpkins Patch at the beginning of the Pumpkin Glow Trail for these special creations.

October 26 – Halloween Celebration at the Winter Garden Farmers Market, Downtown Pavilion, 104. S. Lakeview Ave (Kids Art Activity: Tremaine Street in front of Parking Garage Plaza), Market Hours, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm |  Free Event Activities, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, Come out to the market for some Halloween fun! Children can make a special Halloween craft to take home at the KidZone tent (at Parking Garage Plaza on Tremaine Street). Live music fills the market air! Pumpkin, pumpkins, and more pumpkins — of all shapes and sizes – can be found at the Farmers Market. Get your gourds, fresh fall harvest produce, seasonal décor, and lots of treats to make your Halloween and fall holidays special. The pumpkin display is great photo op too for your fall pictures!

October 26 – Trick or Treat Safe Zone, The History Center, 65 E Central Blvd,  Orlando, 10AM – 2PM, Calling all ghosts and ghouls: it’s time for the annual Trick or Treat Safe Zone! Enjoy trick or treating throughout the History Center and the Orlando Public Library along with creepy crafts, candy, games, and more! Costumes encouraged but not required. Free admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

October 26 – Eolaween, East Lawn at Lake Eola, 512 East Washington Street, Orlando, 4 – 9:30PM, Looking for a spooktacular evening of family-friendly fun? Join us on Saturday, October 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lake Eola’s East Lawn by the Eola House. Eolaween promises a bewitching time with a lineup of exciting activities, including games, a DJ, a craft station to awaken your artistic spirit, a dog costume contest, and trick-or-treating. Don’t miss the Halloween movie feature, “Hocus Pocus,” once darkness falls. So, gather your goblins, witches, and ghouls, and come to Lake Eola for a hauntingly good time at Eolaween. It’s the perfect way to embrace the Halloween spirit!

October 26 – Orlando Zombie Crawl – Halloween Bar Craw, Shots Bar, 69 E Pine St, Orlando, 7PM, Join over 300+ guests on the annual Halloween bar crawl! Come in costume and roam the heart of Orlando stopping in and out of over 10+ bars and nightclubs with one all-access pass.

October 26- 2:30 p.m. Fireside Tales: Halloween Tales and Treats at Orlando Public Library (Adults 18+ can gather to hear haunting ghost stories and enjoy Halloween treats).

October 27 – Kpop FanArt Fair: Monster Market, 111 N Summerlin Ave, Orlando, 12 – 6PM, Enjoy Art, Food & Drinks with over 25 vendors. Random Dance Play performances by The Hallyuverse. Donate blood at the Big Red Bus at our blood drive.

October 27 – Spooky Family Fun Day, Boxi Park, 6877 Tavistock Lakes Blvd, Orlando, 1PM, Spooky fun for the whole family!

October 28- Scaremont – Halloween on the Trail!

Join the Clermont Police Department and the City of Clermont at Waterfront Park on Tuesday, October 28th from 6:30–8:30 PM for a fun, family-friendly night of trick-or-treating, activities, and more.

There will be trick-or-treat stations set up along the trail to provide a safe environment for families to celebrate Halloween together, plus the Creepy Clermont Costume Contest with categories for best costume and best family costume. No pre-registration is required, just stop by the City of Clermont tent to participate.

Stick around for a showing of Goosebumps at 7:15 PM on the big screen and enjoy all the Halloween vibes with the community.

October 28 – Trick-or-Read at Mead, Mead Gardens, 1052 West Morse Boulevard , Learning Circle, Winter Park, 5 – 6PM, Ages 1-5 years. Wear your costume and enjoy seasonal stories during this interactive storytime that includes fun with books, songs, fingerplays and movement. Gather treats as you wander through our Halloween-themed StoryWalk. We encourage full and active participation of accompanying adults. We’ll be sitting on the ground (Learning Circle) so please (BYOB) bring your own blanket. Please bring a flashlight for reading and navigating the Halloween-themed StoryWalk.

October 29 Tails & Treats Halloween Pawty at The Wilson Backyard (at the Melia Hotel Celebration) from 4 to 7 pm featuring Dog Costume Contest and Featured Dog Menu. Dogs and their owners invited to come in costume. See attached flyer.

October 29 – Scaremont – Halloween on the Trail, Waterfront Park, 100 3rd Street, Clermont, 6:30 – 8:30PM, Get ready for a “scary” good time at Scaremont – Halloween on the Trail! The Clermont Police Department and the City of Clermont invite you to join them at Waterfront Park from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM for a night of fun. Enjoy trick or treat stations provided by participating organizations in a safe and festive environment. The night will also feature family-friendly activities, including the Creepy Clermont Costume Contest and a special showing of the beloved movie Halloweentown starting at 7 PM. Don’t miss out on this fantastic evening of Halloween delights!

October 30 – Rhythm, Rhyme, & Not-So-Spooky Storytime, St. Cloud Library, 810 13th St, St Cloud, 10 – 10:30AM, Creep on in for a Halloween Not-So-Spooky storytime. Make sure to wear your costume to receive a special “treat”!

October 30 – Keiser University Scare Fair, Keiser University Orlando Campus, 5600 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, 5 – 8PM, The Keiser University Scare Fair is a safe, family-friendly environment for Orlando residents to trick-or-treat with local businesses. We anticipate over 1,000 Central Florida residents will attend this event with over 100 local businesses. There will be a haunted house, bounce houses, costume contests, face painting, balloon animals, and other family-friendly activities. We are seeking children’s performing arts groups to perform at the Scare Fair. If you know of any groups, please let us know. The Scare Fair is a FREE event for residents with a non-perishable food item. Non-perishable food items will be donated to Christian HELP Employment & Resource Center.

October 31 – Spooky Caboose, Winter Garden Heritage Museum, 1 N. Main Street, 3 – 8PM, Enter the Spooky Caboose – if you dare — stationed outside the Winter Garden Heritage Museum. The spooky-decorated caboose has fun frights for all ages.

Each child will be given a special map that leads them on a quest through the farm, following clues to X marks the spot locations where they’ll find candy-filled stations. This interactive scavenger hunt adds a fun twist to traditional trick-or-treating!

October 31 – Truck or Treat, Heart of West Lakes Wellness Center, 710 S. Tampa Ave, Orlando, 4:30 – 7PM, a night of fun with candy, crafts and fall festivities.

October 31- The Freak Show at Keg Social: Step into the strange and spectacular this Halloween—sip specialty drinks, enjoy tasty bites, and discover what the fortune teller has in store for you!
